I am Rita Famulare, owner of Famulare Jewelers and a GIA Graduate Gemologist. With decades of experience in fine jewelry I've built Famulare Jewelers around a love of beautiful pieces, exceptional craftsmanship, and the relationships we create with our clients. Whether I'm helping someone select a milestone piece, redesign a treasured heriloom, or evaluate a special diamond, my goal is to make every experience personal, comfortable, and memorable.

Hi, I’m Annie! I have over 25 years of experience in the jewelry industry and specialize in all things bridal and custom. I love working with people to find or create pieces that feel just right, whether we’re starting with an inspiration photo, reworking jewelry you already have, or helping you decide what works best for you and your lifestyle. Around the store, I’m known as a bit of a “matchmaker” because I love finding the piece that feels like it was meant for you. I believe jewelry should go beyond being beautiful and tell a story about the person wearing it.

My name is Erika. I am a recent GIA Graduate Gemologist and lifelong North County local. I love all things vintage which is where my interest in jewelry sparked. I am always learning about history and fashion and love applying my interests to creative outlets. As I enter the jewelry industry it is my goal to continue honing my eye in vintage and antique pieces.

OPERATIONS SPECIALIST
My name is Shelley. I joined Famulare Jewelers in 2024 and work keeping the day-to-day operations of the store running. Since joining the team, I have formed a passion for Watches and am currently enrolled in GIA to further my knowledge in Gemstones after majoring in Geology in college. I am a lifelong San Diego native and love to bring an element of fun to everything I do.

MARKETING SPECIALIST
I'm Fiona, the Marketing Specialist at Famulare Jewelers. I have a background in social media management, copy-writing, and event coordination that I am excited to bring to the community that our jewelry store has built. I love vintage jewelry and colorful stones, and finding new ways to capture their beauty is continuously rewarding. Connecting with customers over their special and sentimental items is something I look forward to each day.

My name is Clare and I have been in the jewelry business since I was 16 in England where I grew up before coming to the States for college. I love helping stones stand out in their settings, and preparing jewelry pieces for their owners. I enjoy many forms of expression like music and dance and perform in local musicals.

Co-Owner
My name is Gemma. I co-own the shop with my mom but I'm not as paws-on as her. I prefer to spend my days enjoying the company of my friends but I come in to check on how things are going here and there- you can find me in my throne next to the bridal case on those days.

Doorman
I'm River, the Doorman here at the shop. I'm here to make sure that everybody's feet are warm and that nobody spends their lunch break alone. I'll see you in and keep an eye on my mom as she shows you all of the special vintage pieces in the case.
